The fruity one

The Artesano Ruby Cask has been aged in an ex-Bourbon Barrel for over 7 years before being transfered into an ex-Ruby Port Cask to stay there for another 15 months.
You can see its origin already displayed in its almost rosé colour.

The Bouquet reminds me of cherry, cookie dough and milk chocolate. There are also some notes of plum and vanilla to be found.
Just after a while in the glass you can get also some hints of grapefruit and caramell.

On the palate you can see what the port casks delivers to this wonderful spirit - a round and fruity touch with aromas of cherry, changing on the way to the finish to a more plummy character.
The chocolate you had on the bouquet before seems now to be cacao.

This Artesano Rum is a good starter into the world of dry rums, due to its fruitiness it is the perfect companion for a easy night with a barbecue at home.
